SE-700 Series
The SE-700 series is a collection of Ground Fault
(SE-701) and Earth Leakage (SE703 and SE704) Monitors, which provide ground
fault protection for resistance grounded and solidly grounded three-phase
systems.
All
STARTCO SE-700 series Earth Leakage monitors have the unique
function of discriminating between fundamental frequency earth leakage and
nuisance earth leakage, that is EMI and higher order harmonic frequencies.
Startco
has custom designed a "Digital Fourier Transfer Filter" which
enables the SE-700 series to be set to a fixed frequency and therefore
ignore higher order (harmonic) frequencies, other than 50-60Hz.
Alternatively,
the SE-700 series can be set to Variable Frequency and use the peak
detection method to sample and include all frequencies.
The
SE-700 series is ideal for "noisy environments", eliminating
nuisance trips caused by VSDs.
The
SE-703 carries Queensland Department of Mines and Energy Approval and is
fully compliant to AS 2081
