The TORESS collection is designed to create a mood lighting effect.
Featuring 3 hand crafted finishes, aged gold leaf, acid wash copper & charred black.
The Black Finish is Shou Sugi Ban Inspired. Originating in 18th century Japan, Shou Sugi Ban is a particularly striking method of preserving wood by charring it with fire.
Impressive finish of Shou Sugi Ban is created when the wood is burned until the surface is charred.
To finish the surface is then coated with natural oil.
The result is a scorched surface with a magnificent charcoal black color.
Perfect as a standalone, linear arrangement or cluster configuration.
